Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the “JanSamarth Portal” for government credit-related programs. This will make it easier to get a loan under the government scheme. Online applications can be made from this portal to take out loans under 13 government programs. At present, it will be possible to apply for four categories of loans. These include education, agricultural infrastructure, business development and livelihood loans.
From the loan application to its approval, everything will be done online through the JanSamarth portal (https://www.jansamarth.in). Applicants will also be able to check the status of their loan on the portal. Applicants will also be able to complain online if they do not get the loan after fulfilling the criteria.

According to experts, in addition to the applicant on the Jan Samarth portal, banks and various small and large credit institutions will also be available, which will give their approval on the incoming loan application. To date, more than 125 financial institutions including banks are connected to this portal.
