G-Day referee revealed
You may have a problem if you’re dying to know the G-Day referee. As a public service, we’ll let it be known that it will be Seth Bussey. According to footballzebaras.com, he worked on the Liberty-Eastern Michigan LendingTree Bowl team in Mobile.
NOTE: It turns out that the real referee was Steve Marlowe. The pre-match roster was apparently incorrect.
Backup centers
Based on the pregame warmups, it appears Austin Blaske is the second-team center and Warren McClendon is the third-team center. Warren Ericson is suffering from an ankle injury. He wears a boot on his right foot. Beck was getting second-team and third-team shots from Vandagriff.
Back to Sanford
Former Georgia players are out in force here as usual. Justin Shaffer, Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt and Eric Stokes dance alongside the music.
Super senior can be a no go
Outside linebacker Robert Beal is among the players running the sidelines with strength and conditioning coach Scott Sinclair. The other players in the squad are all believed to be out due to injury, including tight end Brock Bowers, inside linebackers Smael Mondon and Rian Davis and defensive back Tykee Smith.
