Credit Bureau Login (“CBC” or “the Company”), a provider of credit reporting and compliance solutions for automotive dealerships, lenders and other end markets, today announced the appointment of Matt Briggs and Jorge de Castro to the Company’s Board of Directors. CBC is supported by Capstreet, a Houstonlower middle market private equity firm.
“Matt and Jorge are exceptional additions to the CBC Board of Directors, bringing complementary capabilities to the table,” said David Carner, CEO of Radio-Canada. “Matt’s background in auto credit and compliance gives him a good idea of where the market is heading. Jorge has over 20 years of experience as a global growth strategy and marketing manager in the broader credit space, with a solid understanding of how to drive growth investments in highly competitive markets and regulated.

Mr. Briggs is Executive Vice President of Strategy for Self, Inc., a fintech company whose mission is to help people build credit. He began his entrepreneurial career by founding 700Credit, an automotive credit reporting provider. He was also founder and CEO of ScreeningOne, an innovative reseller of background and tenant filters, and co-founder of CandidateOne/CreditDriver, which authenticates and pre-qualifies consumers for auto loans.

Mr. de Castro is Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for My LendingTree, LendingTree’s member-based financial wellness business and corporate strategic partnerships. LendingTree is a leading online lending marketplace for various financial borrowing needs including car loans, small business loans, personal loans, credit cards, and more. Prior to joining LendingTree, he was Strategy Manager for Equifax’s Global Consumer Solutions, where he helped build, launch and acquire the company’s financial wellness businesses and key fintech partnerships across B2C and B2B2C markets in the US, UK and Canada. Mr. de Castro has also held senior management positions overseeing and developing key consumer brands at Kraft, Georgia Pacificand P&G, which started after a banking career in the financial services industry.
